Bishop Minns Appoints Canon Williams
to CANA Council Executive Committee
Bishop Martyn Minns has appointed The Rev. Canon Michael Williams to the Executive Committee of the CANA Council. The Executive Committee – together with the CANA Board of Trustees and CANA Episcopate – provides for the national governance of the Convocation of Anglicans in North America.
Anglicanism Tutorial Begins Again
The CANA Deanery for Chaplaincies tutorial on Anglicanism began its third round in early September. Originally consisting of 12 two week sessions with principle emphasis upon Anglican Church History and Theology, Canon Williams is currently revising the course to include 6 additional sessions. The new sessions will provide for enhanced study of Anglican liturgy, and should be completed in time for used by the current class of 15 participants. Over the past year 20 individuals have completed the tutorial.
